We send out communications through a program called School Messenger. It’s used to send messages to parents about events at the school, emergencies, last-minute cancellations, bus information notes as well as attendance alerts for students.
You are allowed up to 2 phone numbers, email addresses and text numbers. If your information changes please let the school know so you receive those important messages.
If your child is going to be away or is sick, please call the school at 403-343-8821 or email poplar.ridge@cesd73.ca to let us know. In addition, if your child will be late, please call the school office. We want to make sure your child is safe. If we do not hear from you, you will receive a call from the school.
Are you going on holidays without your children? If so, make sure you let the school know of the temporary arrangements. This way we aren't’ calling you while you’re relaxing on a beach to see if you can bring little Johnny a lunch.
