Monday/Wednesday Hot Lunch Program

What is Healthy Hunger? Healthy Hunger is a program that allows students and staff to purchase lunch from a list of predetermined restaurants. We have some vendors that offer gluten free options so check carefully if your child suffers with an allergy/sensitivity. The program serves as a fundraiser for School Council.

When does the program run? The program runs from October until the end of May.  This year we are offering the Healthy Hunger program on Mondays and Wednesdays.  

How do I order? Healthy Hungry has an online ordering system at www.healthyhunger.ca where parents can pay online. You only have to create an account once. That account will remain active. Returning families will need to re-register their children by adding them back to the account and assigning them to their new grade and classroom. Multiple student profiles can be added to the account. 

When are orders due? Orders are due 5 days before the lunch and can be edited before this time. To cancel an order please click on the “My Orders” tab followed by “My Upcoming Orders” and then select the “Cancel & Refund” option. An automatic refund will be issued back to your method of payment within 7-10 business days.

Please note on Red and Yellow inclement weather days there will be NO HOT LUNCH.  Healthy Hunger will issue a credit on your account for the missed lunch.  A credit should appear immediately on your Healthy Hunger account however if the credit is going back on your credit card it could take up to 10 days.

 

The first Healthy Hunger Hot Lunch will be Wednesday, October 2, 2024.  The order deadline is 11:59 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2024.

Tuesday & Thursday Hot Lunch

Tuesday & Thursday hot lunch

The School Council is offering hot lunch meals each Tuesday & Thursday that are prepared by parent volunteers. Ordering  for these lunches is done online at prs.hotlunches.net. To submit a hot lunch order, you must first  create an account and then register each child that you have attending the school. You must  register for a new account even if you previously had an account. 

Oct-Nov lunches are now closed.

Dec-Jan lunches are now until Nov 22/24

Feb-Mar opening soon

Ordering lunches will be open until Nov 22/24 at midnight.

Late orders will not be accepted

 

  • Go to prs.hotlunches.net  
  • Click on "Click Here to Register"  
  • Enter Access Code: PRS  
  • Complete the rest of the registration form. (Including your email address will ensure you  receive reminder emails about hot lunch order deadlines, and your child's hot lunch order  for the upcoming week)  
  • Add your children to your account by clicking the “Students” button  
  • Fill in the form with your child’s information. Click the “Insert” button. If you have more  children to add, click the “Add New” button and repeat  
  • Once your child(ren) are registered, click on "Orders” 
  • Proceed to order hot lunch for your child(ren). Complete the order form for EACH of your  children BEFORE completing payment.
